President & Editor-in-Chief – Wild On The Fly
He’d love for you to believe it’s work, but Wild On The Fly founder Joe Daniel has been forever at play in his lifelong quest for wild fish in wild waters. Those escapades have taken him to countless rivers, lakes and saltwater flats in over 30 countries – fly rod in one hand, camera in the other. His love of travel, culture and the visual arts – and his desire to chronicle and share the best of those angling adventures – has been the driving force and ethos of Wild On The Fly since its beginning.

Video Editor-at-Large – Wild On The Fly
Penn Daniel is a recent graduate of the McIntire School of Business at the University of Virginia and currently works as a financial analyst in Washington DC. He is an avid angler, wingshooter, lacrosse player and extreme skier. Penn has been involved in Wild On the Fly since its inception, and was instrumental in developing the company's original film-making department. He continues to edit some of our major video productions when we can steal him away from his 20-hour days in the financial world.

Editor-at-Large - Wild On The Fly
Grant, the Owner of Castaway Films, somehow finds time to wander the world fishing while directing his new Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Missoula, Montana. He is a superb writer and still photographer, and recently produced an award-winning video on Pebble Mine entitled Equilibrium, The Last Frontier. Grant is a frequent contributor to Wild On The Fly in all three disciplines

Contributing Videographer – Wild On The Fly
Michael was born in Montana and has lived in Colorado for over 15 years. He currently resides in California. A free-spirited trout bum at heart, he teaches photography workshops in the summer and telemark skiing in the winter. He is an accomplished videographer and editor and contributes in the production of Wild On The Fly’s television series on Outdoor Channel.

Editor-at-Large – Wild On The Fly
Roy has been an ongoing byline in Wild On The Fly ever since our premier issue in 2002. His skills as a writer, photographer and filmmaker are exceptional and have contributed hugely to the magazine’s critical acclaim. As a native of Vancouver, Roy is a consummate angler, and when not on assignment in some far off fishery he can usually be found – Spey rod in hand – plying the fabled waters of British Columbia
