Since we strive to produce our television series using "real" anglers instead of hosts or celebrities, there are occasional opportunities for the right folks to join us for the filming of one of our episodes of Wild On The Fly, and even appear in the show. If you are interested in being a part of our team on one of our shoots please email us and tell us a little about yourself, your angling experience and level of expertise, your physical condition, and any restrictions we should know about. Please include a photograph of yourself if possible. If we think you might be the right fit we'll email you our shooting schedule and what's involved in each show. You can then decide if one of them sounds right for you.
You don't have to neccesarily be an expert angler to participate but you should have a basic command of the sport. We are looking for folks with can-do attitudes, who are fun and interesting as people, who are comfortable traveling under various conditions, who are interested in different cultures, who are passionate about fly fishing, and who would enjoy helping us produce a great angling story at some great destination.
Producing a television series is expensive and we have a very limited budget. Please understand this is NOT a free position. You will be responsible for all of your own travel expenses as well as paying the normal rate for going to whatever lodge we might be featuring. The opportunity lies in the fact that we generally get to experience exemplary service and exceptional fishing at that destination and you will share in that benefit. You also will get all the bragging rights of appearing on a national television show, and that can be pretty cool!
