• Hosted Couples Trip - Falcons Ledge, Utah - July 29th - Aug 2, 2020

At Falcon’s Ledge, a non-angling partner is always welcome to join the party at no additional fees.  Wild on the Fly is hosting a couple’s trip to Falcons Ledge Utah, where couples are invited to explore individual interests while exploring the couplship.  This retreat is perfect for the couple looking to escape the concrete jungles, and having room to breath where the air is fresh.

    The Lodge

The Lodge at Falcon’s Ledge is a unique structure handsomely set in a private six-hundred-acre canyon, providing a bird’s eye view of the surrounding canyon, Stillwater, and wildlife. The 15,000 square foot lodge was designed specifically to provide the ultimate lodging experience for secluded fly fishing.  There are only eight guest rooms in the lodge at Falcon’s Ledge and one staff/family bunk room. This ensures your seclusion and privacy. Each room is uniquely decorated in a comfortable yet elegant style. There are no phones or televisions in the rooms. No pets are allowed in the lodge. Every room has a million-dollar view of spectacular canyon scenery and wildlife. Watch fish rise on the lake below and deer graze as you wake to the crisp mountain air.

The pro-shop has a selection of clothing items for layering and weather protection, as well as many items with the Falcon’s Ledge logo. We have a selection of ORVIS fishing lines, flies, reels, rods, sun glasses, assorted gear and gadgets.

    The Food

All meals are prepared in the kitchen using the freshest and highest quality ingredients available. Our professional culinary staff bakes bread, rolls and creates soups from scratch to help make every meal at Falcon’s Ledge a dining experience not soon forgotten. A hearty country breakfast of farm fresh eggs, apple wood smoked bacon, country ham or link sausage, and hash browns, pancakes or French toast. The chefs will never let you down in their quest to surprise you with a new and exciting creation at every turn.

    The Fishing

The Ashley National Forest and High Uintas Wilderness is the million-acre backyard to Falcon's Ledge. The vast tracts of untouched pine with peaks over 13,500 feet are sprinkled with hundreds of crystal-clear lakes, and streams like the Rock Creek, and Yellowstone that are filled with wild brown, rainbow, brook, and cutthroat trout. It is a wilderness where elk, deer and moose are abundant. The diversity of this country provides our magnificent outdoor adventures as well as the spectacular setting of the lodge itself.

A single fly-fishing trip can be filled with many different angling experiences. One day you might sight cast to big wary browns and rainbows on a clear cold tailwater or toss attractors to wild cutthroats and brookies in forested freestone streams above 8000 feet. The next day of your fly-fishing vacation you might hit undercut banks with hoppers on private water at the Lake Fork River Ranch or cast to huge cruisers in our private stillwaters. With many stream and river fishing options within easy driving distance and access to sixteen trophy stillwaters you’ll never run out of things to try, or simply find your favorite and stick with it. Whether you’re a beginning fly fisher, an expert, or somewhere in between, you’re sure to be provided an enjoyable Utah fly fishing experience.
