ROOSTER FISH

Roosterfish are a powerful and exciting fish that lives in the eastern coastal regions of the Pacific Ocean from Baja to Peru and as far west as the Galapagos Islands. They commonly get up to over 110 lbs in size.

Rooster Fish can be identified by their unique comb-like dorsal fin and unique mouth. Their appeal to fly fishermen is the excitement of the vicious strike after which they jump high and if you are not careful will get you into your backing before you know it.
Lodges where you can find them: Pacific Fins, Rancho Leonero, Baja Pirates.
